Spent a lovely week at this quiet campsite.
We were met by a smiling receptionist who could not have been more helpful and speaks perfect english. Although it was off season the toilet block was immaculate (one of the best we have come across)

I telephoned in advance to book this site, and the lady at reception assured me it would be no problem to simply arrive and check in. She spoke excellent English, which I later complimented her on.
The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were given a choice of pitches, all of which were spacious, tree-lined, and very well maintained. The site has a lovely atmosphere, with accommodation options including cabins, motorhomes, caravans, and tents. The facilities were kept exceptionally clean, and the shower blocks were spacious with plenty of hot water.
We visited both Coulon and Niort by bicycle, using the excellent cycle path that runs alongside the beautiful river—a wonderful recommendation from the receptionist.
